Shyam Srinivasan has been appointed as a Senior Advisor and Operating Partner by TVS Capital Funds (TCF). Srinivasan has worked in banking and financial services for more than 30 years. He is an expert in digital transformation, financial governance, and institutional growth.

Srinivasan oversaw the bank’s national expansion, improved its digital banking capabilities, and fortified asset quality throughout his 14 years as managing director and chief executive officer of Federal Bank. Under his direction, Federal Bank achieved steady growth and stakeholder value while becoming a nationally recognized financial organization.

Gopal Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of TVS Capital Funds, welcomed him to the team and said, “TVS Capital is focusing more on transformational growth and control investing with the opening of our fourth fund. Shyam’s extensive background in financial services and strategic leadership will be very helpful as we work with companies to grow into institutions that are prepared for an IPO.”

In his capacity as Senior Advisor and Operating Partner, Srinivasan will offer TCF’s portfolio companies operational know-how and strategic guidance, with a focus on financial services and technology-driven enterprises. His position will help TVS Capital Funds achieve its goal of creating robust, forward-thinking businesses.

With a 17-year history, TVS Capital Funds is a prominent private equity fund manager that specializes in the technology and financial services industries. Its third and fourth funds are managed for about INR 5,000 crore.
