On the tenth anniversary of “Baahubali: The Beginning,” Tamannaah Bhatia: It was a mystical film that we saw.

Actor Tamannaah Bhatia says no one could have predicted that Baahubali: The Beginning, which turns 10 this year, would go on to become an “unforgettable” chapter in the history of India cinema.

The first installment of the wildly popular Baahubali saga, which was directed by SS Rajamouli and starred Prabhas, was released in theaters on July 10, 2015. It was the first Telugu movie to be released in Hindi globally. Bhatia, who portrayed the accomplished fighter Avantika in the two-part fictional period drama, claimed that the movie represented more than just a change in her career.

“The film Baahubali was a mystical experience for us. None of us, I believe, could have foreseen or anticipated the success of that movie. However, what it accomplished for the nation and the film industry—not just for me as an actor—is something that will never be forgotten, the actor told PTI.

Bhatia’s 20th anniversary in the film industry makes this year particularly noteworthy. Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, a Hindi film released in 2005, marked her acting debut. The 35-year-old actor, who is also well-known for her roles in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films, including Happy Days, Kalloori, Devi, Aranmanai 4, and the soon-to-be Odela 2, stated that she is only beginning her career.

In reality, it takes 20 years for creative individuals to discover who they are. It is true for me because I got started at a very young age. I genuinely think I am just getting started, therefore I am going to make every day matter and, hopefully, always provide audiences with something unique to watch,” she continued.
