Global Release of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Cost, Features, and Details

At MWC 2025, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and the regular Xiaomi 15 were both introduced globally. After making its debut in China, the phone is now available worldwide.

It has Leica-tuned cameras, a high-end display, and a potent Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU. Both wireless and fast wired charging are supported for the battery. Let us examine its attributes, attributes, and accessibility.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launched Globally: Features and Specifications

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is a flagship smartphone with a hefty price tag. It is powered by Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and Android 15. The Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, which is based on 3nm technology, powers the phone. It has 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM.

The 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits, and a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. Shield Glass 2.0, which Xiaomi utilizes, makes the screen more durable.

The quad-camera setup, tuned by Leica, includes:

  • 50MP main camera (LYT-900 sensor, OIS, f/1.63 aperture)
  • 50MP ultrawide camera (14mm, f/2.2 aperture)
  • 50MP telephoto camera (70mm, f/1.8 aperture, 3x optical zoom)
  • 200MP periscope camera (100mm, f/2.6 aperture, 4.3x optical zoom, OIS)

32MP (21mm, f/2.0 aperture) front camera for video calls and selfies.

With 90W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, the battery has a 5,410mAh capacity. For increased efficiency, Xiaomi uses a silicon-carbon battery. The phone is resistant to dust and water thanks to its IP68 classification.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launched Globally: Price and Availability

Worldwide, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is available in Silver Chrome, White, and Black. Only in China is the limited-edition Pine Green variant available.

The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage edition of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra costs EUR 1,499 (about ₹1,36,100). The Xiaomi 15 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs EUR 999, or around ₹90,700.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 will go on sale in India on March 11, 2025, according to Xiaomi. More information on availability and cost will shortly be made public by the business.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launched Globally: Xiaomi 15 Specifications

While the Ultra model and the regular Xiaomi 15 have several features in common, they also differ in a few ways. It has up to 16GB of RAM and the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The phone’s 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED screen offers a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Xiaomi 15 camera setup includes:

  • 50MP main camera (OIS, f/1.6 aperture, 23mm lens)
  • 50MP ultrawide camera (14mm, f/2.2 aperture)
  • 50MP telephoto camera (60mm, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, 3x optical zoom)
  • 32MP front camera (22mm, f/2.0 aperture)

The battery is 5,240mAh with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also has UFS 4.0 storage and Bluetooth 5.4 (unlike Bluetooth 6.0 on the Ultra).

Additionally, Xiaomi is providing a free screen replacement during the first six months of purchase and one free out-of-warranty repair within a year.

With a strong Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Leica-tuned cameras, and a high-end AMOLED display, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was released globally.

It has a robust battery, a sturdy construction, and lightning-fast charging. Xiaomi has announced that it would launch in India on March 11, 2025. The Xiaomi 15 costs EUR 999, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra costs EUR 1,499, respectively. For more information about its availability in India, stay tuned.
