Varun Chakravarthy, the premier spinner for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), is aiming to remove three Indian cricket players in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. In an interview with JioStar, the 29-year-old revealed his lofty goal: to remove every batter who is playing well and in excellent form.
Chakravarthy also talked about how he manages pivotal in-game situations and the lessons he is learnt from playing under duress.
Chakravarthy will play on Monday when the Mumbai Indians take on the defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders. The fact that KKR defeated the Mumbai Indians by 24 runs last year—their first at the stadium in twelve years—will also serve as a reminder that Wankhede Stadium has not been a bastion for the five-time winners recently.
